Trying this again.

It really has been a while, I finished school, had a miserable time at work, got myself another great job, lost weight and then my Mom died - suddenly , which meant going home to the UK for a month and leaving the dogs at home with my husband. Although they lived 3000 miles away, my dogs accepted my folks as part of their pack even though they didn't see them for months at a time. It's a simple concept for the dogs, that person just left and that's it.

I find myself looking at a new challenge now, I am determined to look after myself and my pack better. Since we moved to Florida my dogs don't get the exercise they used to when we lived in Vegas. There are too many stray dogs here and dogs who get let out at night. I have to find a better way to get us all what we need, that is a promise to us all.

Its been a long time but here it is. Bear is getting more confident and affectionate every day and has so much energy. Lily is an atypical female Shiba.

I wish we lived somewhere where it wasn't so hot in the summer. We cant take the dogs out during the day and at night the bugs are relentless. But its mid August and in six weeks the heat will begin to subside. -I hope:)

Then we begin the long long walks again.

Getting this blog up and running again

So schools finally done with, so I can give Bear and Lily back their blog.

Bear is growling at a picture of himself that I have as a screen saver on my TV. Silly boy:)

Terrible Two's

Oh my Bear has hit Terrible Two's. He has suddenly begun lunging at other dogs on his leash and is a real monkey to walk, he is also barking constantly for attention. I think some re- training is now required.

Happy Birthday Bear

Today is Bears Birthday he is 2. He seems so much younger than Lily who is only 3 months older than him. Its cold here today so both have them have gone to bed following their walk. It's a hard life when you are 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
